Our special guest is CJ Henderson, a big bad-boy type tough guy who manages to earn his living w/ his pen – no small feat these days. This guy knows his way around Mystery (hardboiled and supernatural), Horror, Science Fiction, Fantasy (sword & sorcery and urban), Comedy, Action/Adventure and Pulp. He is the creator of the Teddy London supernatural detective series and the Piers Knight occult investigations series. He is the author of some 60 books, hundreds and hundreds of short stories and comics, and several thousand non-fiction pieces including The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction Movies, Career Opportunities in the Military, Black Sabbath: the Ozzy Osbourne Years, The Beginners Guide to Collecting Comics, Alcatraz; Breaking into Fiction Writing.
CJ will be premiering "Brooklyn Knight," the first book in his latest series. The action centers around Piers Knight, an eccentric curator for the Brooklyn Museum. Knight has no supernatural abilities himself, but he does understand how to use those mystical weapons and shields magicians have created down through the ages. Considering the overwhelming size of the storehouses maintained by his museum, he does have quite a substantial number of artifacts from which to chose. Which, considering the weird menaces he usually stumbles across, is probably fortunate for him.
Point of interest: CJ's written 216 stories which have been sold 558 times. He is prepared for a Q & A so come w/ questions.
